Hey, depending on how much you want to spend. I would highly reccomend opening up the air system. Get a jet kit and an airfilter, then get a pipe. You dont really need to get a full system, I have a MBRP its nice lookin and not terribly loud but the spark arrestor is not USFS approved. you could probably do the pipe, jet kit, and airfilter for about 550 bucks (depending on the pipe you get) if you dont have that much money just get the jet kit.

Don't know what you count as cheap. The HMF slip on, filter & jet kit from East KY tire was $295 shipped. Made a nice noticeable increase. Enough that I'm sure it would outrun the stock prairies (god forbid if they were modded the same way and you raced). It works real good, but is loud (as is almost any aftermarket pipe).

i put on a supertrapp idsx pipe, with all 12 baffles in it. ( not alot louder than stock, nice low rumble, and quite a bit quieter than a hmf) added a 155 main jet, needle on the 4th groove, opened up the idle screw to 3 1/4 turns out, threw in a k&n filter, and added a few unifilters to the lid to dial her in to a nice tan plug. then i started wheeling all over the place, with my titans, itp rims, and a wench on the front. i did not loose the water from removing the lid, and kept it able to stay a mud bogger. cost wise, i beleave it was all under 400( not including the tires) i do beleave the best single mod one can do to the griz is removing them tires though. they truly do suck, lol. i dont beleave the header pipe makes much differance at all, so i would stay wwith the stock header pipe.
good luck
