Ive been scammed out of a paintball gun on ebay, bought high but it was a lousy side product instead of the real thing.

 

I saw on the local news a few months ago here in Atlanta where guy lost 20 grand on some engraving machine on ebay. Ebay basically told him sorry nothing we can do. I felt sick for that guy as well as you. After reading this there is no way i am taking a chance unless i use a credit card to dispute it.

 

I almost got scammed!!!!! I had a drag banshee on e-bay for $11,500, a guy from Indonesia believe it or not, he would only e-mail me and would not conduct bussiness over phone, he wanted to do a credit card through card machine ,but he would not send money order or cashiers check, i started to inquire about payment and got no response back.... he sure was ready to do the credit card and ship though[ he would have disputed the sale and got his money back and got the quad] !!!!!!BEWARE OF THIS, ITS NO JOKE

 

sounds like he wanted to buy with a STOLEN credit card.

Had to file civil suit Today. Signed papers at the lawyers office. It feels like I am now sending good money right after bad money, none of which I will probably ever see again. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-mad.gif[/img]

I have found one of the people involved. He is making an effort to pay back some of the people who were involved.
My money was not sent to him directly. The person I am looking for might possibly live at an address in San Francisco.
But I do not know anyone who can tell me what kind of neighboorhood I am checking on. I believe that it is mostly an area full of apartment complexes. 1648 10th ave. That is if this persons identity has not been stolen and faked by somebody else. Does anyone know anything about this part of San francisco? Thanks.

 

Got a lead today on the cell phone number of the person my money was sent to. After doing some extensive searching, I found a Friend of the person that I am looking for. When I called that number I spoke with a girl who said she knew exaclty who I was looking for and gave me her cell phone number. So it appears I may be one step closer. Thanks to all the great people here that have assisted me in the search.
