How does the gytr pipe compare with the sparks pipe. Just wondering if there is a major difference between the two.

 

It doesn't compare at all - the Sparks blows it away!

 

Comparing the two the GYTR= You might as well leave the stocker on! Sparks hands down the BEST system out there!

 

I think the GYTR pipe is about a hundred bucks more. So that's enough right there to make me go with a Curtis Sparks pipe. and I did!
And yes I love it.

 

250R for life how did you get a pipe so fast. I would be willing to give you the extra 100.00 bucks if you could get me one sooner.

 

you can get a complete system from alba, the air filter, jet's, and full system, and it is incredible.

 

come on guys, lets not bash with no facts.

First the GYT-R pipe has the same peak gain as the Sparks.

Second it is actually 20bucks less then the sparks (check out the Yam web site)

If you like one pipe over the other thats fine, but to diss a company with no facts is just wrong. I say go with whatever pipe you like the best as the results in perfomance are going to be the same. But If Yamaha put out junk pipes, I don't the the factory racing team (MX and RR) would use them. I don't think they would invest Millions of $ in their race teams to only have a pipe that dosn't performe.

I have personally riden with a GYT-R pipe and it halls a$$. I have also riden with their Piston kit with the YZ cam timing (50+HP) and say goodbye to your arms if you are not ready for it.

 

anyone know how many db's the curtis sparks pipe puts out?

 

I've heard they sound good, but the Alba pipe is set up for maxium horsepower gain, and comes with a complete kit...

I looked over the Curtis Sparks pipe, and it just wasn't for me....
