4-stroke wars vs 2-stroke wars
I just think piped and jetted is more fair because every quad from the factory is choked off.... Stock banshee is about 38, stock ds is about 40-42. The Zilla I guess is around 50 stock.... So take it for what it's worth but like i said the DS650, Raptor, Pred, Cannondale, Banshee are very close. Well I guess you can't "jet" the cannon but all piped and jetted is close. But I know the DS650 is the fastest quad made today stock..... Take a look at that issue of ATV Sport and read those radar #'s...... All were taken on dirt and I don't mean to **** you off but the Banshee did very poor in the radar runs because it spun too much due to the Sh!tty tires they come with.

I agree with you howler, people dont give the shee the respect it deserves, saying all this lame crap like its the slowest thing stock and the only way to get it to go fast is with $2000.00 in parts. You must have just read a post where someone was saying some crap about a stock 4 stroke beating a piped, jetted, filter banshee, ive heard that over and over, people dont know how fast the banshee is until they own one.

thats odd because i read in dirtwheeles 2001 issue and im quite sure what month but they did a shootout with the DS, rap, shee, EX, cannondale. the banshee had the fastest top speed with 77.7 mph, then the raptor with 76.7, then the DS with 75, the C-dale at 74, and the ex at 66(lol)my LT will out run that thing.i guess it really does depend on jetting and wheather. because when its not extremlly hot, mostly really cool weather all bike have more power i think due to slighly smaller piston (not much but a lil) i guees it = less friction

The Zilla with 55 HP LOLOLLLLOLOO HHAHAHA YEA Right. The Zilla is a legend, in its owners minds. I mean look at you, your spoutin off 55 hp for crying out loud. Is this what you heard? the Zilla legend. Just like a good fishin story, it gets better every year. Or whats the saying, the Older I get (Zilla) the faster everyone thinks I am.

I DS650 is VERY undergeared to meet the 75MPH limit..... I put a 1 tooth bigger front sprocket on my DS and it does 85 with ease and gets there QUICK! I can acctually holeshot stock geared DS's because I have a little less tire spin with the slightly taller gearing. And I don't mean to sound like an *** but I will race any piped and jetted Shee, But I know it will most likely be close....... Sometimes not, it just depends.

was that comparision with a cannibale or moto? there is quit a bit of difference between the two. it seems every time there is an comparision they take the slowest cdale. and i believe it would be fair to up grade the cannibal with the moto map since it's free. as far as top end speed goes i would agree with the two strokes being faster but in a track environment, with a true 75 yard to a 100 yard straight away, the four strokes just put the power to the ground better and will out run the two stroke. i own to full race quads (1 lone star 310 mx quad and the cdale) so i can say this with out bashing the two strokes. my friend has an eddie sanders 350 power vavle 250r. his bike will pull 5th and 6th gear like second gear. a power monster, fastest bike i have ever ridden. in a drag race of about 75 to 100 yards i could beat him 1/2 the time. any longer and he would have smokes me pretty badly i'm sure. bottom line, theres nothing wrong with a two quad or four stroke quad. pick your team and stick with them.
