Default Anyone using the MSR Dominator ATV Alluminum bars please read!!!

I just ordered in pair of the MSR Dominator Alluminum ATV high bend bars for my 02 Raptor, and when i installed them the base(bottom), "not the actual bar ends", hits the gas tank cover when making turns, has anyone else had this problem with these bars or do you think they sent me the MX bars for dirtbikes. Thanks a lot

Same here, but it does not seem to be much of an issue - just a little rub in the plastic. The extra height is well worth it.

Sounds like you've got a common problem!!! Basically the lower part of the bar is wider than stock, therefore, it rubs on the plastic. I use Renthal "Raptor" bend bars and they narrowed the base of the bar so it is similar to stock. No problems with rubbing plastic with these bars!

Most ATV's have more room in this area than the raptor, that's why the bars are built like they are.
