If you buy these kits instead of just grounding the wire will your reverse light still work?

 

In the description of the "kit" it says it comes with another reverse indicator light.

 

Do a search for something posted by Silverbear. The link to his website is somewhere on his signature. He's got a pretty detailed account of how to do that reverse override. I did mine pretty much the same as his, only I mounted my switch differently.
