will the toomey spark arrestor take off any power?

 

It will probably take a little bit but it probably won't be noticeable.

 

i have one and i think it takes a little. it IS way noisier, but what ya gonna do? the law says i hafta have it.
makes no sense to me. I can find NO record at all of an ATV starting a forest fire ever! people, and vehicles, on the other hand....catalytic converters, cigarettes, campfires, etc etc

but we get penalized for it of course.

I would say yes, mine runs better with the factory stinger tip.

 

are you talking about the toomey hush kit ? dang that thing drops the DB 15-18.

 

no, just the pop in spark arrester. have some pics of it posted on the quad, or you can see it on the toomey website.

 

didn't notice power change. but i dont like how it looks i like the duels better
