Im gettin ready to buy and 1998 blaster bored 40 over and the price is $1700. Is there any troubles that anybody knows about with the bore kits that could cause problems down the road? And is there anything that i should look for befor i buy it? What are some common problems with the blasters, if any? Thanks!

I have with mine are the front brakes.

 

$1700 for a 98 thats .40 over is NOT a good deal, you should be able to get a 2000 or newer for that price.

 

i have mine .80 over and its been running good for a long time. as long as the motor was rebuilt not too ling ago i wouldn't worry about it. the only problem that i have had is an upper ball joint? (not sure if thats what you call it) bending fairly easily. that price does seem a little high does it have a pipe or anything else on it?

 

The blaster also has a FMF fatty pipe and silencer, Wisco piston, racing rings, and extended swing arm. What is the problem with the front brakes? These were ok you could just about do an endo. What would a good price for this 4 wheeler be?

 

I would pay 1500 for it try to get him down and dont forget to become a member at Project Blaster which is the best Blaster site in the world and they come out with awsome product like the new z400 race fenders.
