Who thinks the yamaha blaster is a reliable sport quad?
yes i would definately say that the blaster is a reliable quad. i would get and oil blockoff kit if i were u but other than that they are an excelent quad. i own a 1993 blaster and its stock and a fun ride. a stock blaster makes a good quad to fool around on and one with a lot of mods and stuff can make a great and fast quad. especially with a 240 kit. the thing that i like about the blaster is you can do so much to them. you can really pimp out the blaster. i like a lot of other quads but there is something that just draws me to the blaster. you might find an occasional problem but what quad doesnt have a problem or mishap every now and then?

well personally i think 250ex is a piece of junk too. my friend just bought a brand new one and he already had to redo the front brakes cuz he went throught some water. and my blaster has taken alot more of a beaten than that and it's still runnin like a top

i think out of all the quads under the 300cc class the blaster and the trailblazer 250, and the z250 are the most reliable.

I recently purchased a 99 Blaster that was completely stock from what I can tell except for tires. I'm not sure if it's been rebuilt as I got it from a dealer, but the thing is a blast to ride. I'm 39 yrs old and 6'1" at 230, and couldn't be happier with it. It runs like new and nearly looks like it. While I'm sure I don't ride it as hard as most would, I have pushed it pretty hard and have no complaints! Great quads for the money as far as I'm concerned and there seems to be a never ending supply of aftermarket goodies for it. Good Luck!!
