Yes actually I find mine to be very reliable in all aspects. Cranks first or second kick, never floods, runs great, shows no wear ANYWHERE. Right now i am in the middle of redoing the whole thing to try to make it a better drag race quad. Stock there slow though so i would recomend installing a 240 kit.

Both my brothers have had 02' blasters for a year and so far there has only been one problem. the rear brake piston got stuck on the disc and wouldnt release. We ride in this riverbed by our house so sand go in there and messed up the mechanism. Other than that they have been great. Im pretty sure it was a fluke. Sometimes things fail.

how often have you had to do rebuilds on your blaster with a 240? what size carb should I move up to if I get a 240? Does the motor get any warmer with a 240? Would a vented hood help out?

Hondaman do u mean he should get a 250ex? If that is what you mean i would like to know your reasoning. In my opinion the blaster is better at everything than the 250ex.

The blaster is a very reliable sport quad, when i first got it i was worried a little becuz it was a 2 stroke but after 2 years of very hard riding it nothing has broke but my taillight (rock) and my headlight(landing wrong while feet were over handlebars)

I like the blasters but i would but get a stopper kit cause the oil injection fails for some people. And also in the older models the brakes start to corrode but thats np i think its an excellent quad

the 250ex sucks. its shaft driven and is slower than a blaster by a longshot. my bro dragged his friend who has one and gave him a huge headstart and my bro won, plus the kid with the 250ex had more experience than my brother.proof that it sucks
