99 Dodge Diesel here. I couldn't beat the fact that my dad has a 92 Deisel that has 170k on it and has only replaced brakes, U-joints, battery and only recently did we put a clutch in it. It didn't even really NEED the clutch. More preventative there.
Mine has been great. Maybe not as much power and definetely louder than the 03's but darn reliable!

I have a 2003 GMC Envoy with an inline 6, 275 hp and 275 lb-ft of torque. I have an airaid intake and next is an exhaust. This should take it to 300 hp and 300 ft-lb of torque. I have never seen one lifted so I was thinking of doing that. It is a nice step up from a nissan 4 bagger pickup. I still use the nissan for work.

Those inline 6s are very good. No vibration & quiet. It sucks to change the oil because it takes 7 qts of oil. It must have a big oil pan because it is only a 4.2 liter engine, but it is worth it. My nissan is a 1995 auto, 4 bagger and it sucks to go up hill with the a/c on. It does run good and never had engine problems.
