2004 Grizzly, Are they fixed?????
I have almost 1000 miles on mine. Never had the gas boiling issue. I did do the side cover mod though.
The only problem I've had, and it's not all the time, is the sputtering up steeper hills. It's only when crawling though.
Haven't ridden it since I got my P-700 though.

Well, Despite the reports of some people having probs. with their grizzlys, I should be picking up my '04 on Dec 13th (That's a Saturday, not a Friday. I didn't want to push my luck). I've been researching this for about a year and a half. I know, if I have problems, there will be alot of "we told you so" posts, but if you do look around there are alot of people that LOVE there Grizzlys. I think you could find negative posts on all the other bikes. The Kawie Prarie was considered but, the solid rear axle and the styling were killers for me. Honda Rincon doesn't offer Diff Lock and I've heard their hill descent system doesn't work very well. I do hope that those owners that are having problems get a response from their dealers/Yamaha. Yamaha does owe them that much. You HAVE to take care of your customers AFTER the sale. These forums prove that if a product or service do works good for you, you might tell a couple of people, but if you feel that your problems haven't been addressed your going to tell anybody and everybody.

I have a red 03 grizz and the only complaint i have had is the stock tires. I traded them for ITP Mudlites 26x10-12 fronts and 26x12-12 on the rear and gas mileage. I have less than 500 miles on it and i ride in all terrain and sometimes 3 to 8 hrs per trip mostly at slow to moderate speeds. I have never experienced any problems what so ever even turned it on its side started right up. the new tires improved the ride 1000% wouldn't have any other quad.
