front sprocket size

I just purchased a 04 raptor le i put on 22inch 9 paddle haulers i noticed on dragging and hill climbes its seems to high geared cant get a good hole shot should i change the tire size or the front sprocket

Sprockets are a lot cheaper than tires , like 5 bucks.

i guess what im tryng to find out is what is the best tire to gear ratio for hill climbs

Lets see, you went up on your tire size so a 1 size smaller front sprocket should compensate and give you a little more bottom pull.

No problem. Even if you dont like the smaller sprocket you are only out 5 bucks, i get mine from rockymountainatv.com

I would go with a 43 in the rear instead.JMO

I would change the front sprocket for about $10 rather than the rear for about $40. Around here its cheaper to buy it from your dealer than pay shipping from RockyMountain DennisKirk etc...

try the sprocket but you might have too much paddle,i would go with a 8 or 7,and i dont think you have enough power to turn those things..
