Default blaster k&n

Ok i have a simple question. The problem is i just got a 240 kit that i am installing. Along with that i ordered a new k&n pod filter. But here comes the confusion. The pod filter that the supplier sent me looks nothing like the pod filter i have on my carb now. I am beginning to second guess myself, and wondering whether the one i have on there now is the wrong filter, or the new one that the supplier sent me is wrong. The one that i have on my blaster now is about 4-6 inches long and cylindrical shaped. But the one the supplier sent me now is about 3 inches or so long and is cone shaped.. I am confused which one is the right one. thanks for the help

The filter they sent you is the right one , BUT !!!! it goes on the out side and connects to the carb itself , not in the airbox .
Basically , its made for that aplication (240) , but they get dirty so fast you have to clean them daily. Hope this helps you.

my concern here is that the new filter the supplier sent me is so much smaller than the one that i previously had on my carburetor. The cone shaped one the supplier sent me is the smaller one and my concern is, will i lose power by using this one. I don't know what to do. Is it even the right one. help! And yes i run my filters with an outerwears.
