HA! Not my fault the Predator isn't quad enough to compete with the DS, KFX, and Raptor.

the fun part is the ds against raptor, i like lining up against raptors the best. something about those two racing that is to much fun, not the same with ds against ds, or when i ride my friends raptors it is still more fun to race the other kind of 650. and hey they are close enough that it can go either way, and what a rush when you can edge out a win, either way dirt wheels has changed on this topic about three times in the last three years.

I've heard the DS and Raptor are close in competitions. I haven't raced one, but would love to.

Overall, I like DW but I will have to agree, they are horrible about changing their opinions and you can bet they will talk up any new quad in the fray until it becomes old hat. Then you will get a more honest opinion.

Clover, give me a break!

Each machine is really meant to different applications although DS stands for dune sport. It is the best at BAJA.
I would run the Raptor in (stock form) for woods and trail racing turns great and the front comes up at no effort.
The 700 is fun heavy tank and is not meant for competition at all. Unless you are going against utility 4X4 class.

The biggest thing with the shootouts is that they are just trying to sell copies, and they know that a shootout sells issues. Because for all those owners of that quad in the shootout will want to read to see how their quad did against the others.

So buy in to the hype and make them rich while we sit and bitch.

the ds and kfx are far to heavy for some racing.too wide for woods and too heavy for mx, but both are good straight liners and have a lot of power.
