hey, I just wanted to ask you guys who know a lot about yamaha's a quick question. I have a 2002 blaster and I was riding it a couple weeks ago and it just suddenly died, I tried starting it...no luck. I did a spark test and there is no spark at all...I tried 3 different brand new plugs too. I checked most of the wiring on it and all the connections look tight. So I was just wondering what you guys think. Could it be the CDI, Coil, Stator, or Flywheel any suggestions would be a great help. Some on told me that coils never go bad is that true?

 

anyone have any ideas? please...anything would help

the CDI is one of those boxes under the hood. maybe a loose connection? are you that lucky?

 

maybe it is the stupic ect try taking that off thats what happened to mine

 

what is that?? and how do u do it

 

electronic throttle control......its like in the throttle box and its a bunch of wires near the cdi...... call a dealership taht does repairs
