This sounds like it could be a bent shift fork....even a slightly bent fork will cause you problems....you might have landed on the shifter a little too hard once and bent it a tad......to replace it the tranny will have to be torn down.

It could be the dogs - but wouldn't it take a while for the dogs to wear down? Just a thought........ [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
