sell p.o.s. blaster for something else?
my brand new 2003 blaster is pretty much had problems since i got it off the showroom floor. first i had to have a new gear box put in it, now my kickstarter is fricked up and my gears are sticking...blah blah, so I took it somewhere else to get all that done. it's only been running for a total of about 2 weeks at a time inbetween break downs. so should i sell this lemon and get a new dirtbike or get it back all fixed up and HOPE that everything is all taken care of and i wont have any more unsuspecting problems.
b/c from now on I'm going to feel uneasy about even getting near it again because with my luck all i would have to do is look at it and it would just blow up.

Buy an automatic, by your post it seems you can't ride a manual clutched machine without messing it up.
ROOSTHROWER.... Dude you ride a SUZUKI, you have no right to slam yammys. Blasters are NOT junk you just don't know anything about them, jetting, how to maintain, & run them right.

I do know about Blasters. I have ridden them and rode with plenty of people that have them. Sorry about saying they were junk, but well, they just aren't the best thing in the world. IMO they could be alot better if Yamaha would just put a little bit of time into improving them.
