I went to the local dealer yesterday and i am stuck between deciding between a limited edition raptor or a yellow z400. I need a quad that will be good in the dunes with paddle tires, good on jumps, and will be able to atleast keep up with Dad who is on a kfx vforce 700. I really like how the raptor feels when i sit on it but from what i have read the z400 is a great quad with a lot of potential and is best for trails. Please give me your opinion i have to decide by tonight because im going up there first thing in the morning to get my quad.

If you weigh over 170# the raptor would probaby be better if not the z would do and is probably a little better for jumping and a little more trouble free. IMO

 

i am 6 foot 2 and weigh about 180. They also have a yzf450 there for the same price as the raptor. Hmmm??? what do you think?

if your considering the raptor and u can find a 450 for the same price go with the 450

 

if you plan to do alot of duning get the rappy......
if you want it to out run the v-force don't get a Z
but if you can get the yfz for the same price as the rappy why in the hell are you reading this........go buy that thing

I would get the Rap over the Z, just my personal opinion, but I would probably get the YFZ over the Rap if they were the same price, although I am kinda wary of the first year. If you don't mind me asking, what is the price?

 

no brainer, even if the price was more, yzf450 or wait until september and see what the honda 450 is going to look like.

6399 with no sales tax for the yzf and the raptor. I am almost completely convinced to get the yzf now. How is it in the dunes? and what kind of power does it have. Yesterday was the first day i had even heard of it.
