HID (Xenon) system in 1990 Blaster?

96TL,
You got it. The HID run on DC only.
A small sealed lead acid is best. They are about $10. Get one from zbattery or any other online dealer:
http://www.zbattery.com/zbattery/sla-12v.html
For batteries, bigger is better but a 5 ah battery (BP5-12) is plenty (your HID's will run for hours on the battery without the motor running). If you want to skimp
Actually pretty easy. A bit of soldering is required. If you do a good job soldering the job is easy. Get a bad solder joint and it will take forever to figure out why it does not work.
You will not get good performance from HID is the stock Banshee housings. If you want small HID's check trail tech (they have the regulator/rectifier too). They will mount in the stock light location of Banshees.
If your quad already has a battery, you just hook up the red (+) and black (-) wires from the HID's to the battery (or light switch if it Raptor, Warroir, 400EX, Predator, DS650, Z400, KFX400) and you are up and running.
