Default xc ready banshee

what would it take to make a banshee (parts and money wise) ready for xc. im thinking i would need to get way more low end out of it. would it be worth it to put money into a banshee to set it up for xc. i was looking to sell my warrior and buy a used z400 but i have seen alot of used banshees for cheap. would i be better of using a 4 stroke than a 2.

I would say it would would probably be easier and chepaer maybe to get the z400 or maybe a used raptor but making the banshee xc ready wopuld be fun.....For more low end you could do something like a dynoport 2into 1 pipe, single carburator(from trinity)some higher compression pistons and porting.......Some new tires, skid plates, and handlebars, and top it off with some new shocks and maybe a new axle!Just some ideas....

A banshee would be more unique, and Im guessing that a well set up banshee could smoke a z400, maybe, don't yell at me if im wrong! just what i think.
