when im in second, somtimes ill completely gun it and hold it all the way open and it feels like nuthings happening, like im not gaining speed, then after a few seconds the power band kicks in and i take off. only sometimes tho. and y does it take so long for the gears to warm up? it sounds so $hitty untill im a 1/4 mile away from my house. the engine warms up but the gears dont for quite a while/

 

You HAVE TO WARM YOUR ENGINE UP every time you start it cold or you sieze your engine up. Its like not going to bed untill 2:00 and then somebody throwing cold water on you at 3:30 and making you run a marathon.
