Default How easy is it to throw off the float settings when jetting your quad???

i havent had a chance to go up any step hills or pop a wheelie so i cant really tell how off my floats are! i recently jetted my raptor and had a few problems taking out the screws that attach the float bowls to the carbs and had to place a flat head screw driver against the screw head and tap it with a hammer to loosen the screw. I got my raptor make together and it isnt idleing as normal...i do admit that i have not messed with the idle jet since i do not have a angle screwdriver but i just want to know if tapping the screw with a hammer is enought to throw the floats off? I am going riding this weekend in pismo and i would hate to be stalling going up som dunes!!!!!!!!!
