Golly gee, would anybody on here ever consider inviting these guys in for a cup of coffee.......giving them the item that they needed to do their job with........sending them away with the hope that you somehow may have helped them in their search......and thanking God that you had just been fortunate enough to have been given the chance to personally thank some of our country's finest for going after terrorists and others who have threatened our way of life?

The apprehensions and pressure that these people bring to bear on our enemies; day in and day out; are inarguably preventing even worse things from happening to the general populace(the likes of which we just don't happen to ever read about)......and who doesn't believe that this is a direct result of their skills and professionalism?(not to mention the risking of their very lives?).

This is why our GI's come home from places like Afghamistan and Iraq with nobody paying any attention to them besides their families,friends and the local veteran's organizations...........sorry, but I know a damn HERO when I see one........... and these men/women who work for the FBI and all our other law enforcent/intelligence agencies deserve every bit of help we can give them.

In case you forgot, the FBI burned an entire church complex full of people because...........they thought there might be illegal guns in there. These are the same people that shot a man's wife and child because.......he cut the barrel of a shotgun 1/2" too short after being talked into it by undercover agents.

Constitutional rights are a muscle, they must be exercised or they will atrophy. Fishing expeditions are not authorized by the 4th. I resisted the only way I could afford, if I had unlimited funds they would not have gotten my pistol or barrel.

Like right now our county is goin through a big deal about concealed weapon law. Why should there be a law against concealed weapons!?!?! I got the pistol back about 2 weeks after they picked it up. I never got the barrel pieces back:-)

Killacuda - If criminals didn't know who was armed, we'd have less crime. If there was less crime, we'd need less cops. Have you ever met anyone that wants to work themselves out of a job? Me neither. The more cops, the more "criminals" they need to catch to get promoted. Since the people can't be trusted to defend themselves, the left wing wants to hire more cops. If everyone is behaving, they'll make new laws so they can arrest or fine some of them. I don't agree and vote Republican.

I live smack dab in the middle of two of the largest cities in his country (Chicago and Detroit) which each have several nuclear power plants which are fed by this nation's largest source of fresh water and 10's of millions of people in and around them.

Immediately after 9/11 (when the Ruby/Waco crowd were huddled around the 'ol bunker and hoping like hell that the FBI would take care of some of these bastards...... and QUICK) the Federal Bureau of Investigation put out a call for all campus police here in Michigan to assist them in covering their backs when they needed to interview about 800 people here in Michigan).

For those of you who might have been living in a cave for the past twenty years or so; Dearborn, MI. is home to one of the largest Muslim populations (over 250,000 people) that this freedom-loving country has ever produced and is also conveniently located down the road from one of its most porous borders (with thousands more on the other side of it).

Our "friends" here in the major campus administrations (and this is why I have to point out the sad irony in these group's hatred of "the left") would have none of it.

They refused to send their law enforcement out for back-up duties; they offered FREE LEGAL ASSISTANCE to any person questioned by any member of law enforcement and (last but not least) convinced the government that they should not be allowed to interview ANYBODY without first sending them A LETTER which politely asked each person of interest when would be "a good time" for them to meet with the FBI and the college legal defense lawyer!!!

Do you know what most people here in Michigan were hoping to see from their fellow statesmen?(which is in stark contrast to "Ube's" philosophy).......the local FBI office being FLOODED with Arab-Americans ready to offer helpful info up on some of their more radical brothers........ and college educators, who are the only other Americans in direct contact with some of these people, doing the same...........but guess what?.......it never happened and was a direct result of attitudes like YOURS.

Please don't even TRY and lump any Americans with nothing to hide from the FBI and an appreciation of their work; alongside your "left wing" politics(see above)..........this 'anti-government' movement tries to use "both" sides of the political debate depending on which way the wind blows (try debating them on the "right wing" Patriot Act).

Sorry, but a friend of mine's Dad up here in Michigan met somebody a few year's back who had similiar views and pulled him over on a lonely country road out in the thumb area........his name was Timothy McVeigh and he let him go.

as for the FBI being brave how do you figure? they investagate mostly.. the armed forces are brave in my book but FBI i dont know about that.
