I couldn't say what mods any of them had done. I didn't talk to any of them. Some were faster than others and 250R4life said the ESR YFZ was on alcohol. I don't believe any of my videos show the ESR YFZ. Yes, the white one will be the one I get from the 2005 line up. Money permitting of course.

 

Not blinded, just glad to see folks believing what us YFZ guys have been saying since we first took our sparkys and lids off. BTW: rode my modded YFZ on trails for the first time today - point and shoot - awesome.

I wouldn't say I "love" my machines (got me two of 'em), but I will admit to being satisfied with my purchase.

Run whatcha brung - no excuses. I'm 205 /w gear and if my weight keeps me from going fast, I'd better spend some $ to get speed, loose weight, line up with the "big boy" class or simply keep it on the trails.

Finally got to see some YFZ's run at St Anthony. Pretty impressive, they can put an easy whoopin' on my Quadracer (better get some porting done) by a few quadlengths up the backside of Thunder. One of the guys on a YFZ with air lid/jets/baffle out said he got beat pretty good by another one with the cam mod going up Choke Cherry.

Hey the old Quadracer made it all the way up the face of Devil's Dune. It sensed I was going to buy something else I guess and tried just a little harder. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
