Default Have you heard about this

I just got a message that Yamaha is recalling several 01 street bikes for transmission problems. If someone can tell me how to add the link on here I will post it. Funny they didn't mension Raptors.

To put a link, first go to reply and there is a button that says http and has a chain link, click on that and type the link. Wow, Yamaha actually give a ****, NO WAY!!!

Those scumbags at Yamaha........where in the heck is the recall on the Raptors? Maybe they don't think flying along at 60 mph on your quad and the possibility of the tranny locking up could be fatal>.......Their day will come, the day when they PAY for all of those 2001 raptor trannies........................every last one.....................................

Somebody must have won a court case to get Yami to break down and recall the street bikes. It sounds like good amunition for the Rappy owners.

They must have had to pull thier heads out of thier ***** for a breath of air...next time they might help us rappy owners

Please, everyone here, (or if you personally know someone that has had to fix their rappy tranny on their own(and still owns the rappy). Send me your e-mail address, That is all I need right now so I can get a number on how many people there are. I am talking face to face with an attorney on Monday to see what might can be done..................ryenol@yahoo.com(send them here........)

Have you looked at your owners manual lately? basically you can't ride an ATV anywhere and be safe according to the manual, no uphills, no downhills, loose surfaces, hard surfaces, no wheelies, you just can't ride the thing except on turf in little circles.... etc. That's why Yami will jump on this street bike thing, they are not as protected from the law if the failure happens when being used as the vehicle was designed

Let us know what happens with the attorney. You never know, maybe we will come out on the top of the pile for a change.
