How to idle up a Banshee?
#1
My Banshee is idling extremly low RPM'S and my service manual doesn't say how to idle it up... so how do I do it and there's two idle screws right?
and I was thinkin about gettin a boost bottle for alittle more lowend power... do they work at all?

The 2 idle screws are under the seat on the back of the carbs, you can't miss them (bout the size of a silver dollar) turn them in for higher idle and out for lower. Just make sure you turn them EQUALLY!! Boost bottles suck and are a waste of money.

If you have the stock carb caps TORS system they are on the top/back side of the tors boxes. They are the size of a nickle and have knurled edges and a very wide slot in the top. Make sure you turn them equally. If you don't have the stock setup the idle adjustment is done with the brass screws on the outer sides of each carb.

You need to tighten your TORS. Use a pair of channel lock pliers to tighten the large screw cap.
As far as the boost bottles, they won't provide much extra lowend, but if you have one of those few banshees that wants to run one cylinder just a little richer/leaner than the other regardless of your jetting, it will help to balance the pressure in the carbs.
