Does anybody know how many db's the stock pipe is without the spark arrester?Just curious so I will know how loud other pipes are.

my guess would be somewhere between 92 and 96 dbs...

 

Here is some Noise Test Date from the CA State Parks Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division. These are field conducted tests so you need to kinda look around. Sometimes bikes are listed under their common name from the Manufacturuer (Warrior, Raptor, Banshee) or the Manufacturers code name. They show the engine size, pipe (I assume this is the header) and the silencer. That will give you an idea of what you would test at if that is an issue.

Noise Test Data

Choose the manufacturer and then look through the list to find your machine. This list includes both motorcycles and quads (probably even 3 wheelers if any were tested.)

Black and Red.....man your a lifesaver!!
