Only tests with a reading of 101 dBA or less are included.
LOL ... no wonder they only included the FMF exhaust of mine with the power and decibal dropping Quiet Core insert....

Thanks for the link!

These tests are just reference for CA riders who want to check on the legality of their exhausts...

No guarantees on how California will enforce the noise regulations but in the Oregon dunes it's 93db and they will give you a few db for ambient noise and not perfect testing conditions. Usually if your under 100db your ok as long as you don't give them a hard time.

Oregon gives you +3 DB for grace - but if you rub them the wrong way, they can still give you a ticket for anything over 93 db. Its the enforcement officer's descretion.

Shady,
change of plans.
I have an alba pipe. I am taking out the race core and am going to install the quiet core they are manufacturing now. It should be ready in a month or so. It'll be legal for 100.00 or so.

Around here in Wisconsin, most people really dont care about the noise aslong as you're not tearing around all the time.....If the cops or DNR try and stop us, we just leave them with nothing but their ding dong in their hands

Just my little story.

Ive got a ct full pipe and I run all 16 discs. I remember that the old DW article said the ct was like 104 db. My friends and I went to the dunes here in michigan where the limit is 94db. My friend has a 93 warrior with an fmf pc4, and he passed at 94db. It was terribly loud. I followed him and they had me rev it up. Mine was so much quieter they didnt even test me. So I dont have actual numbers but its not as loud as one might think.
