One of my riding partners is buying a Blaster on Wednesday. I'm going with him to check it out and test drive it. I need some knowledge on checking out Blasters. When checking this out, what should I look for? Thanks, any response is greatly appreciated.

 

Run though all the gears make sure that none of the gear hang up or miss, Lift the back end up by the grab bar and check axle bearings, also check front end bearings, check the carb cap they tend to strip the threads, cheak air filter and crank case oil for negelect.
And if u decide to buy a blaster get rid of that oil injector in not worth a blown top end. email me for directions of removing the oil injector.

 

I agree, get rid of the oil injector.

It cost me a top end rebuild.

Also, check out the engine mounts, and the welds on the frame. Check to see how the shocks are too.
