my 04 Blaster wont shift up from gears 3 to 4 and 5 to 6 good. the lever will go up but it wont shift unless i get the rpm's up high but i dont like doing that and i shouldnt have to could it be tranny oil or do i need to go down a size in my jet because i just put in Boyesen reeds and run with no lid please help

 

If its 04 blaster it may still b under warranty, take it to the dealer let them look at it…If something’s wrong they will have to fix for free...

 

If its not under warranty and you want help to fix it,tell me does the clutch have some freeplay in it?For example :can you pull the lever in a little before it gets hard to pull or is it tight?
When you say it doesn't shift good, is it hard to pull up on the shifter and does it pop out of gear sometimes?answer those questions and I'll help.

I AM HAVING A SIMILAR PROBLEM

when i am shifting up every now and then the shifter gets stuck up, so in order to shift up again to another gear i have to push the shifter back down and then pull it back up... and also when i am down shifting i have trouble shifting from third to second and second to first unless i am moving at a decent speed... I Tried changing the trans fluid about a week or so ago and it did get alot better what else could i do to fix this??? Thanks Alot!!
