Why would you guys bash honda? If it wasnt for honda and suzuki coming out with sport quads in 86 then you guys wouldnt have you precious new sport quads. WOW, yamaha made a sport quad too!! HOW many people acually raced the banshee? LOL Unless you dragraced or raced tt you didnt even think about the shee. And then after a few years with out any new sport quads honda comes out with one to get the sport rolling again, and now you guys are bashing it?? When are you KIDS going to learn? This forum is full of alot of b/s..... Why dont you guys look at other forums and see how they act compared to you people.
By the way im a honda/yamaha guy just to let you know for those of you that dont already.

I read the entire article on the trx450r in dirtwheels and they said it did have titamium valves. And a question, why do some of you people always group logical honda riders with the ignorant ones?

who cares how it looks on paper! are you gonna join other friends with thier ''papers'' and say ''oh look mine has a higher number here so its better.'' Come on guys use your heads, the raptor looks alot better than the 400ex on ''paper'' but is it actually better? no in most terrains the 400ex is faster ie; trials, mx. How about we all just wait till it comes out then conversate on its performance?

You OBVIOUSLY care about how it looks on paper cause your arguing with me that the 450R is better when it's not even out!! The only way to have an argument is to use what you see on paper so you just counter act all your arguing...thanks. Oh about the Raptor and a 400ex that depends on your riding style not the machine cause they are wayyy to different to compair.

Im not saying that the 450r is better than anything, ive been arguing with you that the yfz doesnt have an alum frame for the past 4 posts and that the 450r is as ''non-revolutionary'' as u think. I never said in post ''the 450r is better than the yfz.'' If a quad can be better than another quad in some areas why cant they be compared? the raptor is a 660 yet the 400ex is faster on an mx track?

C'mon honda guys...you started it with this post. you don't want to be grouped with this guy...but your all still singing the same song..it just took a couple of your post to jump on the band wagon.
To me...it looks like a rush to producion for Honda.
they release a cartoon...then a online hype revealing a 400ex with a crf450 motor (oh,but not really the CRF engine...whateva!)...and it's still not available.
seems like a rushed design to curb the thunder Yamaha is enjoying. Hell, yamaha revealed a completey new from scratch design wich they've tested for 3years. and made it available with no hype Immediately.
then comes the Honda smoke and mirrors. all i'm saying here is. this is not historicaly how Honda operates. so you may not get that same reliable honda product that you've come accustomed too. Yamaha's been reaping the rewards and to top it off Kawi.suzuki, polaris and Bombadier have been digging into honda's profits as well. they needed to move fast...and it shows. if you can't see that. you just don't want to.
i'm still sticking to my Raptor. alot of buildable potential. in DW they hint around to Honda's plans for a 650 as well. that may interest me more than the trx450.
with what Honda brought to the table. one has to ask...what took so long. where did all the research go into...i don't see it. and that quad does not show it. JMO
OMG: a 400ex is faster than a rappy on an mx track. don't think so dude. atleast not in my experience. 1st off, are you talking stock? because a stock 400ex is gutless. and if you talking about modded than your still dreaming. my Elka's and lsr axle and a-arms handle as well as any mx quad. the only place i can compete is in open class and 30+. and in those two catergories...EX's are'nt leading the pack...period. in fact the Z and Kawi's and predators are more competiticve and have pushed the EX's back further in the pack. maybe MXing is diffrent up here in new-england...but thats my experience.
