Problem!?
#1
Ive got a Blaster that im trying to jet for cooler weather. I had a 260 in it and it was perfect. The guys at yamaha said to change it to a 280 for cooler weather. I was thinking that was a bit extreme but went with it anyone. Now, when i do a plug chop with the 280 the plug is slightly brown and not wet at all. I would think it would be rich but the plug doesnt show it. Also, when im riding in 6th gear wide open with it, it seems like it doesnt have as much power and speed as it did before. Is that a sign of too rich or too lean? Also, is there another way of telling if it's jetted right other than a plug chop? Help please. Thanks
