i have had a trinity 727 for 1 month when i cracked the piston and absolutely stretched the corilla rod out it....and according to trinity its my fault...???how could i do that in only 3 races when the motor is built for nitrous......i hear alot of good and bad about trinity but......im not sure, i built the motor for nitrous and the say its the wrong jetting in the nitrous kit.......i run what the factory suggest?????they sold me a motor with to small of a sleeve in it........when it detinates at the end of the track>>>????i have already blew 2 head gaskets and burn out a clutch in 1 month.....they kept it 11 weeks before they attempted to start on it....that can't be right.....mabe im wrong but a business like that should stand behind their product .....built for nitrous and a month later boom...mabe its just me but when you spend $4000.00 on a motor you expect it to be right and not blow up a month later........make sure before you ever get a trinity built motor you ask around and make sure you know what you are getting in too.......i hate to rag on a company but i fill ive been done extremely wrong and @ my expense....i have paid for it.......im just a # to them.......good luck to anyone looking for a nice motor and getting a rip-off.....sorry harry but i tried to get it taken care of....i still dont think its nitrous express fault....i ran what they recommend...you build the motor to withstand 50 hp...shot but not whith the sleeve you guys put in it.....won't stand a 15hp shot.....good luck in all you do....but i wouldn't recommend you to anyone......

Trinity probably didn't balance the crank after they installed the rod, I know of another forum member that they did this to and caused his motor to fail but I won't name any names

 

The Raptor that this motor was in can be seen at www.atvdra.com under members rides topic Hendersonracings 727 Raptor. One of the nicest Raptors I have ever seen. The complete motor is polished. Slim

 

Deffinately one of the nicest looking Raptors around. If I remember correctly he posted a 7.5 1/8 mile time, so its not real slow either.
He also a NX dealer, I think. Just another point that his N2O should be set-up right.

Ward the Raptor that posted the 7.5 was Freddy Sanfords Raptor(done by Sparks); he owns Sanford ATV. This is the crew I race with. This was the first time the Bike had been out so I expect it to go quicker and it does not have NOS. The Henderson Racing Raptor does have NOS but he hasnt put it on the asphalt yet and I honestly don't think he will; they like the 200ft. dirt drags around there way. Slim

They have (claimed) 200' drags here, but they are run awfully.

 

Yep another happy camper. I would like to see what was done for 4 grand. But that could happen to any builder. You never know what really happens after it leaves the shop.

 

Slim- I saw this post over there. I just could not bring myself to bash on trinity's **** poor service or building ability. The guy (henderson racing) is hot as i would be to. Why people end up at trinity's door step is beyond me. I did in the old days and was a fast learner afterwards.
