Just in the way he's shifting gears it looks like he could pick up more time by improving that. IMO
PS. My comment was not a knock. He seemed to have to long of a lapse between shift is all and will improve with time which will improve this time is all I meant. I'm no pro and probably shift slower than what he did here.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img]

Looks like there is enough power to start in the next highest gear maybe. He only shifted once so maybe he could eliminate the shift all together, maybe. They've probably already tried it though. He did hit the limiter and could probably shift into his final gear shortly after take off and pick up more time. Possibly.

His air shifter was having problems. The override is only 1-3 gear so that's why he starts in first. The shift you could see him make was when the air shifter malfunctioned and he had to put it in 3rd manually. I believe the 4.281 run later that night was done with all manual shifts
