She needs the reverse so no yfz.
Hmmmm... the only reason she would need reverse is you weren't there. I wonder what she's not telling you.

how about a polaris scrambler 500 4x4 at first i hated polaris but i rode on this one and even though it is automatic this thing really moves. especially on take off. it rips through mud very well in 2wd but when it is in 4wd it is almost unstopable. but you better hang on on take off because it has some force. it almost slides from under me. and it can do a wheelie if you hold the front brakes and stomp it. great atv and it is not that expensive compared to some of the others.

Suspension is somewhat adjustable, with a 10-inch travel on the rear anyway, stock. (I think it's 10?) It is a little heavy, but that seems to add to its stability.

Suspension travel on the Warrior is the same front and rear in stock form and is 7.9" .. just shy of 8. On this point I have to agree with most every other person .. stock warrior suspension is not very good.

The front heaviness does add to stability for hill climbing ..

Don't do the warrior. It is a wonderful bike, in its day, and it is pretty much bullet proof, but it is quickly being dated and she would be better served by a 400EX. You can mod the 400EX to get more power if she gets to that skill level. It has MUCH better stock suspension than the Warrior. It has better retail value, and I could go on. I am talking as a former Warrior owner and who had to keep up with his buddies (2) on 400EX's.

Now it is my turn to make them keep up with my Raptor!

I thing bang for the buck, the 400EX will keep her with you, happy, and not poor.

400Ex ain't exactly fresh meat either....

I think a Z400 or clone is the answer here, bottom line. Good power, reverse, good suspension and handling. What more can you ask for?

well if she is anything like my woman, she will have you off of the your quad pushing her backwards if she was on the ex. If you buy her something that has reverse then you will have on less thing to worry about.........
keep both of you happy and dont' get an ex..........I agree with most everyone else on this thread.......get a z/kfx/dvx
