if it runs better with the choke on that means its getting alot of air and not enough fuel.. something is plugged... clean those carbs...

 

Had the same problem with mine for a while. Didnt matter howmany times i reinstalled those friggin boots, they still fell off. I bought a set of new rubber manifolds from a company called UPP. Fit perfect and havent had a problem since!

 

The only reason I rode it is because with 2 days left the it was $2500 under the reserve, which I thought I had set too high. It was the last time I planned on riding it. It wasn't really that muddy, not half as bad as what I had ridden in before, its just that the dirt there is like glue when its wet, it sticks. Thanks for all the help, I'm going to go over everything mentioned right away tomorrow.

I checked them and they seem to be fine.

 

Maybe parking break thingy is stuck? I know when u try to rev with parking break on it makes cool noises and stuff [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

after reading through all the posts its probably not the parking break cable since you said youve taking it out again and runs bad... I now feel stupid and will not post anything else today [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]

 

again.. and my last time ill say it.. CLEAN THE CARBS.... something is lodged in one of the jets and its starving...

 

Sounds like the parking brake swith to me.
