He says that it bogs bad off idle and then clears up, sounds like the floats to me.

Last night, it was just doing it when idling, but today I took the plug out and cleaned it and now it does it all the time, through all the gears. I will hit the gas, it will lose all power, then it will backfire and the power will be back on. I don't think it should have anything to do with it, but for some reason my reverse light will come on all the time now(just come on when I'm riding and be on for a couple seconds and turn back off).

I didn't read the part about it clearing up. It does sound like crap in the carb but the light comong on is wierd. A weak spark or leaking or bad plug wire could do the same thing.

Rev limiter? Check the green/white wire under the front sprocket. If the connector is loose, it will cause all kinds of problems with the reverse rev limiter.

Taking a look at the carb boots is not gonna cut it. Take the carbs off and pull on the lip of both boots....I bet 1 will reveal a rip.

Before I did anything to it, it was just doing it when idling and taking off, but I took the plug out and cleaned it and thats when it started doing it all the time, even while riding. What it does when idling is different from when riding though, when its idling I can hold in the throttle and it will sputter but will gradually rise up through the rpm's. When riding the power just instantly falls and is instantly back on again.

Better take it off Ebay. Sorry but it sounds like you have some issues to work out before selling it. You don't want to burn anyone with a bad deal. Hope you get it figured out.

The auction is already over. I will be pulling the carbs off soon. Anything else I should do?

Put a NEW plug in it. Lotsa stuff you can't see can go wrong with a plug.

Check your fuel filter and all that stuff too. The "on" "off" "res" stuff make sure it isnt clogged
