do you not understand that you must ACCELERATE to top speed?
acceleration is any change in velocity......Im tellin you dude....I used to think the same thing until me and several buddies decided to try it......we would race to top speed and the lighter person always pulled on the top end.......we played musical quads and it was the same outcome everytime.......
we sound like a couple 6 year olds argue'n like this.....LoL

Here is the math to work out top speed.
Aero Horsepower: Drag x Speed or HP at the wheels
Frontal Area: Amount of Frontal Area (large hood scoops, mirrors and bumper openings add to this and decrease your top speed.
Cd: Coefficient Drag.
Speed: In MPH
Aero Horsepower = 0.000007 x Frontal Area x Cd x Speed3
Show me where weight has any effect.
