will removing the fmf Spark ARRESTOR screen off my FMF power core 4 help to gain power?
if not, will removing it make the pipe any louder?

We have one of these pipes. I removed the spark arrestor due to dirt was getting in the screen when going over on wheelies. It didn't add anymore power. And I don't like the way it sounds without it. But try it, its only two minutes of work to do it.
