Default Torque & Long Swingarms...

As you know, I've entered a new age of YFZing. I've got to get the front end of this thing down and stop giving the holeshot away. Will gearing do much? I doubt there are 4.5" extensions for the YFZ yet. Will 4" of additional swingarm really help? What will it hurt? Turning obviously.

well I did gearing and a +4 at the same time and it helped ALOT getting me out of the hole without the front end coming up. Like you said I doubt theres alot of choices right now but the only thing it effected with me is wheelieing is alot harder but I ll get it down. To me it actually helped my turned but thats cuz I did it on a raptor and now it turns and corners awesome ... Hope some of this helps

I've found that extending the swing arm seems to make it easier to "swing" the rear end around in corners. I didnt notice any bad manners in turning - I like it much better.....this is on my Raptor but I'm guessing the same applies to the 450.

I went a +6 on my raptor and I love the way it handles. Corners much better as well. The ride is the best thing about it as well as hitting the whoops confidently. I would recommend a +3 or +4. My dad has a +4 on his raptor and his rides pretty similar and the front end still gets light on his,(Sparks 690)
