Default Durablue axle questions

I am buying a new axle for the 660 and have a question. Can I use my stock sprocket hub and stock brake rotor hub on the new axle? I dont know anything about aftermarket axles. Am thinking about the Durablue eliminator axle. Anything else I should know? Also will the stock wheel hubs work on the new axle?

Yes...Yes and Yes....All stock parts will fit on the Eliminator that doesn't come supplied with the axle(hubs, brakes, sprockets, etc.). Read the instructions first!! The only thing I missed about installation is an extra ring that comes with the kit, but doesn't apply to Raptors. The extra ring is for Banshee's. Other than that, I installed one on each of my 2 Raptors in about 30 minutes each.

you will need a new axle nut!! My stock one did not even come close to fitting did not find out until I go my axle in and my nut did not fit so I had to order a new one.

Durablue supplies a locking axle nut with the axle if it is bought new. But your right, the stocker won't interchange with the new axle...

I know, I'm dragging up an old thread, but RacerRob answered my question about the extra ring.

My next question is. Has anyone had the bolt that holds the hub on break? Has anyone had the hub get ovaled inside because that bolt started coming loose? How have these axles held up for you so far? I've already purchased the axle, going to put it on this weekend. TIA

Is the Eliminator the one that is wider than stock? Are they definitly stronger than stock? And, where are you buying from, who has the best price on them?

Capt.

The X-33 that I bought is up to 4" wider than stock. Suppose to be a lot stronger. I bought it from RockyMountain ATV for $457 shipped to my door. It comes with Billet wheel hubs. Bought it Monday, it arrived on Wednesday.
