The 250X is deffinitly a great handler, I love how light weight it is too, compared to my Warrior. I would never trade it for one though.

 

Now this is a tough comparsion both are excellent machines but having owned a 92 250X I would have to say go with the 250X [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

I bleed Yamaha blue, but I would take the 250x

I had one, it was the best bike I ever owned. I cracked the houseing by the front sprocket once, drove it all the way home (bout 3 miles), wide open, while leaking oil. Got home, JB Welded the hole, filled it up, rode it for a few more years before I sold it. Biggest mistake I ever made.

But, we bought it for 1800 in 88, sold it for 1500 in 93 or 94. It's worth WAY more now

if you have one, hold on to it!

 

250X is definitely a nice little machine. My cousin has an 87. It's in pretty rough shape but still runs like a champ. He climbs hills I wouldn't even think about. But then, he's a much more experienced rider too. I've only rode it a couple of times before I got my Warrior, and I found it had heaps of power, because of it's gearing. I think it handles better than the Warrior, but it's nowhere near as fast. My cousin's tops out around 88km/h with him on it .. he's around 230 ...

 

i would say the warrior would be a better all around quad. jmo

 

I loved my 250X..sometimes I wish I still had it..that thing never gave me a single problem, it just kept going and going....
