the only time I feather is when I run 15/40
you just have the revs right under the limiter..........let the clutch out almost all the way and work it in and out a couple of times
just play with it..........feather as little as you can to keep it from lugging.......

thats what i do but then it launches and dies... my cousin can do it but i cant but i can do it on his baja... think the clutch needs fine tuning?

Dude that sucks its eathier your trans shifting drum (happened to me to). or the shifting lever is too high or low just get a pair of pliers and turn the adjustment hooking the lever to the engine.

Since I replaced the stock linkage style shifter with a Pro Design I have not had that problem.

no I haven't raced it..........but even he says that I would smoke his @ss...........maybe when he bows up and puts a stroker motor in it.......[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

he has the cam and yz needle ordered..........that may change things a bit!!!

Take the shifter off and rotate it down one or two notches. That solved my problems.
