Selector/Wallstreet, I do have to say in Shasta's defense. I don't believe he was talking about gettin' pi$$ drunk. I believe he said something along the lines of 1-2 brews. Although I still don't really agree with it, In his defense he's not saying its ok to get trashed and go ride.......
My initial reply was directed @ Wolv03 in response to his reply - I don't know that Shasta needs defending.
My bad Selector. Didn't know who you were directing your comment too.

Yeah, I have had a beer after a hot ride, maybe even two , but you can bet your ***, I am not riding with even a slight buzz. Not that I couldn't, I hate to say, but back in the day, I learned how to handle my booze, but what if?
Your cruising slow down the trail, a small buzz, nut wasted, just feeling good, laughing, you notice a little kid come over a dune and you drive right over the top of him. It was a no fault deal, you know, both of you should have seen the other one, but whos fault is it now? Thats right its yours, you were drunk, and Selector just kicked your butt, and reported you to the cops because you ran over his kid.
Not me , not in a hunderd years.
And if it's not Selector kicking your butt, it will be me!
Like Selector said, I am only talking about people riding ****-drunk, I trust you as an adult to be the judge of your self. Just don't push it around me or mine....

I don't drink and drive. I save my one beer a month for when I'm driving my recliner. If you do drink and drive please do it responsibly. Don't drink too much in too little of time.

I have to admit that I used to take a 6 pack along in my *****'s for a ride over the mountain. I never had too much that it made me do something stupid. The one trail was shut down though because some kids were drunk and flipped their jeep. They ruined it for everyone else that enjoyed the trail. Dumba55es!--
Don't ruin the ride for everyone else.

Once a woman told me, she could always tell which guys were immature (not exact word she used) in a bar. They were the ones that always had a drink in their hand. I'm not sure if she was talking about me at the time. It was about 13 years ago.

We have to drink beer in the winter on the bikes . It's the only thing that does not freeze. Drink black ice at 6.2%. takes 20- to freeze it. I don't get drunk , we just have a beer with lunch or when we take a break. God who likes to drink pop. Pop is for kids.

thats my story and I'm stickin to it.

it doesn't suprise me that a mormon {made up religion by a nutjob } would be preaching and quoting to everyone. i was asked for my oppinion and i gave it. we ride slow trails for 6-8 hours at a time and very seldom on public roads. so keep your religious beliefs out of the forums. thank you for proving to everyone that the great SELECTOR is right and everyone who enjoys having a few beers while riding should stay away from the great SELECTOR from utah .
