Theres a few things

1) Have you changed the fuel octane?
2) The valves may need adjusting
3) Any mods may have caused jetting changes
4) Warriors have noisy valves to begin with

yep check your valves, simplest job there is. take off your gas tank then theres a valve in the font and back of the engine. take the covers off and wiggle it and if it moves quiete abit, then they are out of adjustment, loosen the bolt on top and then turn the screw in untill you can barely wiggle the rocker arm. same thing for booth sides. Very simple. Not the way the book says but your not going to mess anyting up. Thats the way some of the pros do it when they are in a hurry and dont have time to mess with the feeler guages.

It's either they need adjusted or the nut fell off the top of a valve and has yet to catch in the motor.

Probably just needs adjusted since it appears your still riding...but man...if there is no nut on the top of either valve, start tearing down your motor and empty your oil....it fell off in the engine...and I had just assumed there was never a nut on there in the first place.....went riding....BAM! snapped the sprocket off the camshaft and jammed the timing sprocket........didn't cost that much to fix...but boy...a big wait.

btw I adjusted mine to the specs with a feeler gauge and it was wrong and didn't run right...so I messed with them and expiremented and got them fine now.
