I wish I would have put my CR 686 on a dyno just to have an objective reference to compare with Mr 45Auto's. Like Dfitz, my engine did not feel any less powerful when the rev limiter kicked in. I could do it instantly in first and second. Maybe it's gearing? I was running 12/40 on 18" tires to get max acceleration. A MX or short drag Raptor will never see 5th gear so the loss at the top of 5th isn't important. Anyone know where the 685 Web cam is supposed to peak? And to get this back toward the original topic; Vortex, Dyna, or ?? for super high rpm Raptor engine and why?
