hmf quiet core users

Default hmf quiet core users

i have a rincon with hmf and want a quiet core but hmf said thay dont reccomend there current core due to the rincons power lol i know that people with higher powered machines are using them. they said it will ruin the endcap if i use a quiet core. any of you guys have a problmes running them on grizz's or craptors whoops i mean raptor lol !! any info would be much appreciated

I am currently running the quiet core in My HMF system. I don't see how it can ruin the end cap. I will say that you can definately feel the power difference with and without the core.

Yes! With my set-up I should've rejetted. I am running a HMF full exhaust, sixsixt intake and k&n's at sea level.
My failure to rejet caused massive carbon build up in the combustion chamber. When a chunk of carbon came loose it lodged into the intake valve keeping it from closing which in turn came in contact with the piston. Result: bent valve.
No big deal I was planning on modding the engine anyways. It's almost complete.
