0% interest for 12 months from Yamaha
Thanks to all for the input.
According to Yamaha, the rate can be anywhere from 9.99% to like 21%. I figured it was based on credit score so if I was able to get 9.99%, I might go for it. Any higher and forget it.
As someone mentioned, I considered doing the 12 months and then transfer the balance using a different loan with a lower interest rate.
Desertbound: You mentioned you got the 0 down, 0 payments for 3 months, and 6.9% rate. Was that through Yamaha? Honda has the exact same deal advertised on their website. Yamaha doesn't though. I would prefer that over the 0% deal.

Yeah I got that through yamaha. My buddy is the owner of the dealer I got mine from. He said they use the zero interest for 12 months to get people in and not everyone qualifies for teh zero down zero for thre months. I qualified for it so I snagged it. And I think the interest is actually 6.6%. Honda does have teh same deal also though. Actually I hear Honda has really good financing. If the 450 Honda's were out I'd probobally get one of those. But I fell in love with the YFz. I can't wait till tomorrow when I pick it up.
