I recently bought a 99 blaster with very low hrs on motor, it was stock and about a week ago I ordered the FMF fatty pipe with Power core II silencer. I did a lotta reviews and asked tons of ppl which pipe would be best for the blaster.
Out of all the ppl I asked 75% of them owned blasters, and they said to go with the FMF pipe, so I did.
I noticed the Pro Circuit pipes were not to cheap and I woulda spent a lotta money on them.
I should be recieveing my pipe sometime this week and once I have them on and test it out I'll reply in here.

I have the CT240 kit and it comes with everything except the silencer, it rips, but if you want to go cheaper than $900 go with the FMF Golg Fatty pipe and Power Core II silencer , Boyessen reeds, ditch the injector and premix with a better quality oil like Maxima, Maxima does however make a good quality performance injector oil better than Yamagoop! Also the lower profile tires and 14 tooth sprocket are some good points, if you ask me start with the pipe, silencer and reeds, pretty well priced. I also bought 2 blasters for me and the wife and had the same urge to go faster. Dosent meen that I dont like riding with her though.

I have found Pro Circut pipe and silencer for like $230 and that sure beats the 350 I spent for my chromed LRD pipe, silncer, and jet kit.

AMAZING, called up the yamaha shop and my pipe was in!!!
Me and my bro Stacy put on the pipe and rejeted it. Test ran it down the road a couple of times and I noticed a big difference. There was more power throught the rev range, particilarlly in the low end (didnt have enough room, or better yet, didnt wanna get a ticket by the cops, so I didnt really get past 4th gear), I love the sound they make also.
I am happy with my purchase, and I got a lotta stickers too!
